Arianne

I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin, Arianne, this past November.  Since she lives pretty far away from me, her mom & I planned it so that she would fly to stay with me for a few days, and then we would bring her to our family’s Thanksgiving where she would go back home with her family.  Everything went perfectly as planned…except it was *freezing* cold! The previous November, we barely had to wear coats in Indiana, but this year it got down in the 20’s.  Arianne was a trooper though, and I still managed to get well over twice as many shots as I usually do.

Brady & Ella

These two…I absolutely adore them.  Brady is the best big brother to this sweet little girl, and it’s obvious how much she loves him as well.  I always love seeing how their mom styles them too.  She has a way of dressing them that looks effortless, but always put together.  This red outfit on Ella was a red riding hood costume for Halloween, but I love how it works for Christmas as well.

It was pretty chilly this evening, but the sun was perfect.

The Evol Family

When Brooke contacted me about doing some family pictures, we decided that Shakamak Park would be a great place for them.  After I asked about her boys, I noticed one thing in common…they all loved to fish!  So after we did the more posed part of the session, we moved on to one of the Lakes for some fishing.  I love, LOVE, getting pictures like this for others.  It’s something that brings back more memories than just standing or sitting together posed & smiling (although those are important to have too). This is something that they actually love to do, and we had so much fun with it.

Also a first for me–I waded IN the water for some of the shots!!  It was cold, but definitely worth it 😉

Britt

Every summer my cousin Britt comes to stay with my family and me.  I always look forward to her visit, especially since we live about 6 hours apart.  I remember when she was just born…I was 13, and she was only a week old the first time I held her.  I fell in love with her sweet little face that day, and today she’s more like a little sister to me than a cousin.  I’m SO blessed to have her in my life.
